Global Ports Congestion Index

The Global Ports Congestion Index (GPCI) is a weekly newsletter publication detailing current berthing delays at the Major Coal + Ore ports worldwide. Given the impact berthing delays have on the supply of tonnage to the market and its subsequent effect on freight rates the GPCI is an invaluable source for tracking vessel berthing delays at the major Coal + Ore ports worldwide. (For those interested in subscribing to the Global Ports database of proforma port disbursements and port restrictions please refer to the Subscription page for relevant pricings for this service)

Covering over 80 Coal and Ore ports/berths worldwide in countries such as Australia, China, Brazil, India, Taiwan and South Africa the ‘Global Ports Congestion Index’ provides a detailed and succinct overview of where berthing delays are occurring worldwide.
